If you have used MacOS before than you would be probably familiar with alfred or spotlight search. In case you don't know MacOS provide simple searching tool which you can use to search files, apps, search something on the internet, calculations and many more with just a shortcut key. In windows 10 this feature is still not available but you can get it by installing a software called wox launcher. It is so handy that I forgot that windows have its own search which is completely useless. I am sure that you will definitely love
Here are step by step process on how you can install wox launcher and use it.
Download: Wox launcher is free and open-source software. You can download it from github or just clicking the link https://github.com/Wox-launcher/Wox/releases/tag/v1.3.524 . Click on latest release and download complete Software bundle(Everything search, Python and wox launcher)
Installation: After downloading install all the software. After installation start the application. That's it.... You are done.
But still we need some special add-ons to harness full potential for wox launcher
Press Alt+space to open up the search menu.
Type settings and press enter.
Select Plugins and and select find more plugins.
Some must have plugins are - calculator everything weather web searches URL's
To find files and folders make sure that everything software is installed
Make sure that wox launcher is in startup apps.
Next If you want search something just press alt+space.
