One of the best feature of MacOS is Quicklook. In case you don’t know, QuickLook enables user to preview the file without opening it. It comes very handy when you want to check multiple files. Sadly in Windows 10 you don’t have such feature inbuilt, you have to download extra software to get this feature. In Microsoft Store you get a software called Seer pro X which provide same functionality, but it is paid. Well here another app available in the market which is completely free and open source – QuickLook . It is available on Github . Further I will tell you step by step process on how to download , install and use it.

Click on Latest Release and download msi or zip file as your option.
Run the msi file and complete the installation.
After installation small icon of Quicklook starts appearing on the taskbar which confirms that QuickLook is running in the background.
That’s it. You are ready to use QuickLook.
To use this feature select the file you want to preview and then press Space Bar. It supports multiple file format(jpeg, mp4, pdf, png)
